Welcome. I am Samyama M Kolhapuri (Sam). Originally from India, I have lived most of my life in Indonesia. I was raised with dual cultures and travelled the world regularly with my travel-loving family. I have found comfort in changing environments, diverse people, and unique ways of life.

It was while studying Journalism in Brisbane that I found my life's calling. I remember sitting in an outdoor cafe, sipping my hot mocha against the cold winter air. I sat there for hours watching people, feeling SONDER for the first time. I knew then that I wanted to be a storyteller.

I want to get to know people and write about their struggles and joys. It is this essence that I centre myself around today, regardless of the role I choose. I find inspiration in the unlikeliest of people.
